1. A water bill that creeps up without reason

6. Low pressure at one tap only
Whole-house pressure drops are usually a supply or pump issue, but a single outlet losing pressure suggests its branch line is leaking or partially blocked by corrosion debris.
7. Mould reappearing in the same corner
Mould needs constant moisture. If you clean a patch and it returns within a fortnight in the same spot, something is wetting that surface from behind — a pipe, a failed membrane above, or a roof path.
